the lowQi life

Hey readers! Welcome to the new and improved the lowQi life: A Lifestyle Blog! QiBee & Tees just got a little makeover…

This revamp took a lot of faith and well…guts.

When I first started blogging, I always had my heart set on sharing transparent moments of my life in hopes that it would be an encouragement to myself and others. Unfortunately, I found myself extremely inconsistent even though the struggles and lessons of life endured. One of the main reasons I felt unable to write more consistently was finding a topic or starting point. Then it hit me. One day, I had an idea to start a blog with the focus around my personal reflections of captioned tees. I love wearing shirts with impactful sayings, I had my starting point, and there began my “official” blogging journey with QiBee and Tees.

So what is super lowQi? I’m glad you asked.

After almost 3 years of blogging inspired by caption tees, I was challenged to once again step outside of my comfort zone. I started to feel boxed in with my writing and personal reflections, thinking I could only post something that pertained to the shirts I’d collected when God was revealing so much more.

So…the lowQi life is the remixed version of QiBee & Tees designed to still share transparency with some other life hacks. I believe this will allow and challenge me to increase the variety of content while staying in my lane. My hope is that this brings freedom to blogging about what I know or am learning, outside of deep spiritual lessons.

What does this name even mean? A even better question!

the lowQi life, a play on words from low-key. Low-key means not elaborate, showy, or intensive; modest or restrained. For those that know me personal, or can tell from my blogs, I am very laid back and introverted.

The name actually came from my husband who is way cooler. During our dating days, we were having a conversation on super heroes and he gave me the name. Since then, I’ve felt empowered in more ways than one.

This is a huge step for me but I’m excited to take the challenge. Thank you readers and supporters! It’s been an incredible journey and I’m excited for more. Stay tuned!

P.S. What do you think of the new website? 🙂
